As you complete our bachelor’s of finance online, you’ll study what it takes to run a business. Through challenging curriculum, you’ll examine the sources, uses, cost, and control of funds within a business, along with the development of financial statements, capital management, and various investment strategies for stocks, bonds, and derivatives. The program focuses on financial decision-making in the modern corporation, the quantitative methods used in key areas of finance, and the fluctuations in business and economic forecasting. You will also acquire a strong foundation in business law, accounting, portfolio management, federal income taxation, macroeconomics, and microeconomics.

AMU’s online finance degree develops a strong foundation in business principles while you learn economics, statistics, finance, accounting, and business. You’ll further expand your finance skills through a selection of comprehensive courses. In addition to 14 courses of the core curriculum, four credits of elective courses are required.

Admission Requirements & Process
To be considered for Ave Maria’s online bachelor’s in finance program, you must have a combined GPA of 2.6 on a 4.0 scale from all past colleges attended is required for transfer students. If less than 24 credits of college-level coursework has been completed, then the high school GPA will also be taken into consideration.
